Most incidents of cars broken into were because the criminals went for something of value kept in the car. A few cases happened when criminals broke into cars parked in dark and quiet places like the backlanes and took away Smart Tag devices. Park your car in a safer place. It may be worthwhile to pay a few ringgit parking fees rather than risk your cars broken into. Do not at any time leave any bags or items of value in your car. Hide them or put them in the boot space. Even if there is nothing of value in the bag(s), thieves does not know this. When they see a bag left unattended, they imagined there could be a camera, a phone, a calculator, sunglasses, laptop or even some cash. Do not attract the attention of criminals.
